I don't think it can get much worse really! Stories have been poor for a while now, and not a fan of the casting either.

Yesterday’s was atrocious- first few minutes showed promise (rather like 2020) mid way through was dire and I switched off before the end - so I agree wholehearted I cant see how it could get any worse but not sure I will be watching to find out

I never finished watching the last series of Doctor Who I just got bored and it was too preachy. I don’t mind Jody Whittaker but she is no David Tennant. Also this big John Bishop surprise they were talking about it on the news like it was George a looney that had been cast. Big deal it’s John Bishop

They desperately need to get new writers - the New Years Day episode was awful and predictable. Such a shame, as we’ve been huge fans since it came back with Christopher Ecclestone (although David Tennant has been the best).

The only good thing about the New Years Day episode was Captain Jack. I can’t see the point of replacing Bradley Walsh with John Bishop - he always seems so smug.

I haven't watched the series with Jodie - but caught a few clips and did not like as all seemed on the Earth.

But as Captain Jack was in the latest episode I recorded it.
From what everyone is saying it wont be any good.

Hoping John Bishop will replace Bradley Walsh and some of the others.

I loved seeing Captain Jack again - he is magic, but the rest are passé at best

Yeah, I agree.

And he was the only one of the companions to actually do anything. He rescued the Doc, he had bombs to plant on the Dalek ship and that handy vortex manipulator of his, and he actually had a personality!

The others just seem to stand around adding nothing. At least Graham (Bradley Walsh) was vaguely amusing at times.

The New Year's Day special was ok, but nothing brilliant. Instantly forgettable really.
