Mobile Have we got the right to cancel?

If you have had a change in flight number or time or airport
(or just know any of the answers) feel free to discuss.

We have booked flight only through Virgin ...

Our return flight has changed by 40 mins... does this give us any right to cancel both flights? I am presuming not but clutching at straws 🤣🤣🤣

No that is not regarded as a "significant" change so any cancellation would be subject to the fare rules relating to your ticket.

Great thanks👍 ...thought as much... never been so excited to see a flight change alert then disappointed to see only 40 mins 🤣🤣🤣🤣

One of mine has been changed by 24 hours. Would that could as significant? I’ve tried to look it up but can’t find specific details anywhere

I would say so, I’m sure it is anything over 12 hrs but not 100% certain.

Think it's 6 hours but different limit too depending on length of flight

I think Virgin say 3 hours.

We’ve been put on the earlier flight back - I’ve seen some suggestions that because it’s a different flight number then it becomes a major change. I hope so, I’d really like to cancel if possible.

Definitely. You are entitled to a full cash refund in 7 days pursuant to Article 261/2004 which wrapped and became part of you contract with VA.

Put in a request for the money and if not received go the chargeback/ S75 route if you booked via credit card.

Ours is a different flight number... This would be good if it was true ...Does a different flight number affect a current travel insurance policy?

My return flight has been cancelled completely and we have been moved to an earlier flight( 2 hour difference). Any thoughts about my rights to cancel fellow Dibbers
