WOW, why has car hire price increased so much?

Hi Guy's

Why are car hire prices so costly at the moment?
Especially Alamo, who I have always previously booked with?

Regards Dave.

Have you checked Andy at Discount Florida Car Hire for Alamo?

I moved my 4 week full size car from last April to November at around the same price. Next Spring are looking around £50 dearer than Nov (that's for 4 weeks not per week)

Used by dozens of Dibbers including us around six times in the last 3 years.

Mick

When the prices are crazy like that, it's worth dropping me an email and I can check the offline system for you.

I'd say look at FX rate, it's been "up" the last 2-3 days to highs of 1.26 but has also been as low as 1.18!

£480 for the standard SUV through Dollar and £495 through Hertz. The offline system for Alamo is more expensive than the online price although if you were to find it cheaper elsehwere with Alamo, my supplier is usually quite good at beating the price.
