The bubble has burst.

With the announcement this afternoon that the magical Express to be scrapped and extra magic hours permanently removed, has the bubble burst as we have also lost 60 days out fp.
All these were introduced in slower times to accelerate attendance, so was only a matter of time I suppose when they are having to limit capacity. These were the 3 main incentives most stayed on property for.
Car hire company salesmen must be laughing into their frappuccino. And maybe the 192 may get a little more busy and maybe regenerate a little if people switch to local hotels as I loved that area in the 90's.

I’m surprised about the magical express. Even if they charged for it I would have thought they would keep it.

It serves them well to keep everyone ‘trapped’ on property which the Magical Express did very effectively.

It’s a half an hour early entry into any park. Rather than concentrating everyone into a single park.

It does make some sense.

Almost, but not quite - magic hours usually only ran at 1 park in the morning and one in the evening, for IIRC 1 hour mornings and 2 in the evenings.

The new scheme is mornings only, for 30 minutes across all parks.

So if no transport.. people will now hire cars, so another win win for Disney. Pay to park your car.

No dining plan, no magic bands, no extra hours after closing, no transport from airport.

I don’t see any reason to pay a premium to stay on site

I'm sure one of the main reasons for stopping DME is that the new train service will be running directly from MCO to Disney Springs. It will be bus to the resorts from there.

Fastpasses will be back in some form. The only thing that might not is free dining.
