Disney and Peter Pan censorship

dailymail/news/art...ristocats.html

Is there any truth in this article?

If so where will it end?

What a great shame these classics are being affected in this way...

A non story by this tabloid. The films are still there with an advisory. I don’t have any issue with that - like any other film/book/song that contained potentially inflammatory or subtle racism. Times change...

Seems like a reasonable approach.

The impact of race bias cannot be underestimated and just because it is in a Disney film doesn’t mean it is ok.

Just seems over the top to me .. These were films that were of the day and you cannot make out these films never existed ..
This is a time to make new films to reflect the changing times ..

But they haven’t ‘made out they never existed’. Disney+ have added a disclaimer and removed the films from the section of the service aimed at under 7’s - who presumably wouldn’t read and/or understand said disclaimer and therefore could watch the content concerned and the race bias cycle continues.

The films are still available to watch via other areas of the service. I.e when watching with a parent.

You keep bringing these up - it’s a non story. The advisory is on there, nothing has been changed. Chill dude.
