kipling bags... raisin or alva?

Hi Dibbers!

OK, I am a Kipling virgin but think they will be amazing for the parks... I have 2 kids and a husband and, let's face it, it'll pretty much be left to me to be carrying all the stuff about (isn't it always the woman?! ) Anyway, I can't decide what bag to get out of the Alva or the Raisin? Which is bigger out of these two?

I will most probably be carrying...2 bottles of water, snacks, money/tc's, purse, phone, keys, small first aid kit, possibly camera (although I don't like to be responsible for camera/camcorder...that's hubby's responsibility! ) I like to have lots of separate pockets for things!

Really good prices on Amazon just now

Thanks for the advice everyone, as always!

Out of those 2 options I would go for the Raisin, it is lovely and you can get loads into it.

I can understand that you need to fit loads in - but dont foget that whatever you put in that bag in the morning is going to feel 4 times as heavy at the end of the day - haha

To save space and weight why not take just one botle of water and refill it as you travel round the parks with a cup of iced water which you can request at any restaurant/food cart that sells fountain drinks. It is illegal to refuse anyone iced water. This will save a lot of space and weight in a bag.

I also did not take my full purse to the parks - I used a very small one with loose change in, a few notes and he usual entrance card (o KTTK) and credit card - also saved loads of space

I would definitely go for the smaller bag - its surprising how ruthless you can be when you only have a small bag to fit in essentials.

I have the raisin and love it although I won't be taking it as a park bag for that I have a Milos, which carries just what I need. We do take a small backpack into the disney parks with frozen water in and we can share carrying it.

ok, just ordered the Raisin in a lovely sky blue colour! Got it for £27.30 so quite chuffed with that

And if it doesn't suit? Well, then, I'll just have to order another style! And then tell hubby I've sent the other one back

Thanks for your help everyone (think the Reth is next on my list! )
