Best ceremony time?
Hi everyone! Looking for some opinions as I've spent hours overthinking this.. What time do you think is best for a wedding ceremony in August
09.00 12.00 14.00 17.00 ? I'm trying to avoid the potential for those afternoon showers, as unpredictable as this can be, but also trying to think what we would do after the ceremony if we went with an earlier time. Any tips or advice most welcome! Ta xx |

We went for noon as in September the rain seems to be afternoon not morning. As it's just us and a handful of guests we are having cake and cold platters around our pool as we wanted everything simple ( the hardest part is deciding on the cake flavours).

Hi, ours was a 3pm and it did try to rain but luckily it was only lightly for a few minutes. Personally I would go with the 2pm slot as it gives plenty of time that morning to get ready without stress and that would led into a nice time after the ceremony to maybe go for a meal.

We've gone for 11am. Reasoning being, not getting up that early, less chance of rain, plenty of time afterwards to take photos, booked a boat for the afternoon, time to change for evening dessert party
