We have taken our twins at that age
We bought nappies online and had them delivered
You can’t take baby jars with meat through customs either

Our little boy turnt 8 months when we were there last time. We did a garden grocers order, took the essentials like nappies, swim nappies, wipes, formula, sterilising bags and porridge. We also took a kettle to make up the formula and ice packs to keep it cold if we needed to take it out with us.
It was so much easier then we imagined it being and we have so many cute character photos.
Have fun.

We took our 7 month old and basically took everything we needed with us. We took all our nappies, wipes, milk and pouches. The nappies were packed in our car seat bag so didn’t take up any room. We took powdered formula in our cases and also took TONS of ready to drink that we ordered from boots airside. We took a roll on suitcase so that we didn’t struggle carrying that! We also took all food pouches but nothing with meat as I read different reposts about whether they were allowed. When we went through immigration we declared all food etc and they did specifically ask whether any pouches contained meat so I guess it’s an issue.

We also took steriliser bags which can be used in either a microwave or with cold water and a Milton tablet. We took an inflatable duck bath but with twins I’m guessing a regular bath will be better. Make sure you’ve got a buggy with a decent shade or buy a decent shade. Also the water spray fans were great at spritzing him off!

A double buggy or 2 x single buggies (that fold flat) and 2 x car seats. If you fly with VA, they can go free in the hold. If your delayed, you can keep the twins in the buggies up to the last minute and they can sleep if need be. Car seats are charged at $10 a day rental! Also, don't board the plane first, wait until until near the end of boarding as you are only on the plane for longer. Take plenty of calpol, nappies and spare clothing for the flights. We use to take a large can of their usual baby milk in the suit cases.

Thanks so much this has been a great help. We are only taking 2 car seat as we are not hiring a car and are getting picked up by a firm recommended on the dibb to pick us up from the airport and they only have 1 car seat so we need to take 2 only. We are hoping to use Disney transport a lot and if needs must the Minnie vans as they cater with two car seats. I hope we are not making a big mistake here though.

Thanks again everyone

At 8 months mine we're eating normal food, chopped or mashed with a spoon, and drinking cows milk. Not sure on advice now, but we didn't have to sterilise from 6 months either once they were weaning.

We used to take Weetabix so breakfast was same as home and lots of small soft plastic spoons. Also favourite cups from home to fill with water.

Make sure you have caps for their heads, preferably with a peak to keep sun out of eyes. We used swim type ones with a flap covering the neck.

We took nappies, Calpol, teething gel.
