A Surprise return To The Beach Club. - Getting There

We left home the afternoon before flying, and drove to Manchester which took 1.5 hours longer than usual due to an accident. This is why we don't leave it till flight day! We checked into the Hilton, really nice room and would have been ideal for a family of 5 as there were 2 doubles and a sofa bed. We booked a table for dinner - no pics, but I do get better! We all enjoyed it, and our first drinks 😊🍹 before a fairly early night.
We had breakfast booked and it was a good buffet, our flight was the 12.45 VA so we had plenty of time to take the car to the Meet and Greet and the short walk to departures. I'd checked in online for the flight, car hire and resort and also paid the £15 for Fast track security for the 3 of us, so we were through quickly.
The flight was in time, and was uneventful. We were in PE at the back of the cabin, our meals were good, and there were plenty of drinks on offer. I love the warm scones for tea! Once we landed we were off the plane almost first, through the airport and climbing into our Alamo car (nice upgrade from full size to Dodge Caravan) in 55 minutes.
We arrived at Beach Club for our first stay in the Villas, and had been given a room in the area I'd requested, on the (US) 2nd floor overlooking the pool.. Our first reaction was to lie down! but we unpacked and headed to Beaches and Cream where we ate too much and had our desserts boxed up for later. The server only charged us 2 credits which was nice of him, and he gave us 3 enormous slices of cake!
Bed was calling - we'd managed till 10pm!
