Has anyone been to the London holiday and travel show?

Just wondered if anyone has been before? Been offered free tickets to the one at Olympia (31st Jan- 3rd Feb). which a lot of cruise companies seem to do, but not sure it's worth going for a day trip?

Are there any bargains to be had? or is it just info etc?

Many thanks

We’ve been to the Manchester one and going again on Thursday. There’s a good variety of exhibitors but not too many cruise lines and I don’t recall many (if any) bargains.

Thanks Omega 1. Is it mainly small niche travel companies who exhibit?

I would only be interested in River cruises and Cruises? It was Norwegian who offered me the tickets so I'm guessing they are going to be there? Thanks

It’s a mixture really - Celebrity, RCI, Azamara and some top end cruise lines are there - but no Norwegian in Manchester. Viking are the only river cruises. There’s a lot of tourist boards from around the world plus the niche companies. The list of exhibitors is online.

I wouldn't go to London just for the show - no offers and its too busy to really speak to anyone meaningful.

You'd get more joy out of your local travel agent, the internet or certain cruise specialists.

We went one year with friends (we had the free tickets) who were looking to book a cruise - we all left within an hour very disappointed.

If you are going to London and can combine a visit with other things then I would go - otherwise I really wouldnt bother even with a free ticket.

Thank you! It sounds like it's not worth it! I was only going to see if there was any good deals and ideas for this year! We have nothing booked and we can't decide where to go! Dh has said no to Disney this year!
