Please comment on my dining list
Our last visit was 2011 and we've never stayed on property before. Now have the added fun of our 2 children (DD7 and DS5). DD has her birthday while she's there so she's picked Bon Voyage Breakfast and CRT for her special day. Let me know what you think - where there is no breakfast meal shown it means we will eat something in the room or use a snack credit. We are not spending full days in a Disney park. I think we will do rope drop the first week and finish at lunch time then spend the afternoon back at Beach Club, Springs or just having time to chill. Then in the second week we reverse that. There are still some gaps below, especially on QS, so any suggestions are welcome. Not keen on Storybook Dining.
Sun 13 - HS Lunch: Woody's Lunch Box Dinner: Cape May Café Mon 14 - AK Lunch: Flame Tree BBQ Dinner: Another QS Tue 15 - Epcot Breakfast: Garden Grill Lunch: Snack if needed Dinner: Chicken Guy Wed 16 - MK Lunch: BOG Dinner: Tepen Edo Thursday 17 - IoA Breakfast: Beach Club Market Lunch: TBC Dinner: Marvel Dinner Friday 18 - Epcot Breakfast: Boardwalk Bakery Lunch: Morimoto Asia Dinner: TBC Sat 19 - Volcano Bay Breakfast: QS Lunch: Snacks we pack for the water park Dinner: Ohana Sun 20 - Universal Breakfast: QS Dinner: Hacienda San Angel (and watch fireworks) Mon 21 - AK (arriving after lunch) Breakfast: Snack Lunch: TBC Dinner: Yak and Yeti Tue 22 - MK Breakfast - Snack Lunch: Tony's Parade Package Dinner: TBC Wed 23 - MK Breakfast - French Bakery at Epcot Lunch - Sanaa Dinner - Snack after fireworks/waiting for fireworks Thur 24 - No park allocated Lunch: Hollywood and Vine for Fantasmic Dining Package Fri 25 - MK Breakfast - Bon Voyage Lunch - Nothing Dinner - CRT Saturday 26 - Leaving for airport |

Looks great to me, we do exactly the same, a week of early starts, and then see the fireworks etc the following week.
It's fantastic that you've scheduled lots of resort time as you'll really get the best out of it that way. I also like that Epcot restaurants figure a lot so you're making the most of out of your location. Great planning! Have a fabulous trip when it comes around. |

Looks like a great selection to me! My only ? would be whether you want to spend more time at Disney Springs at the QS offerings are really good there (we always like to do one early morning and one evening at least for the different atmospheres... and a good shop)- Blaze, D'luxe Burger etc but being that close to Epcot no doubt you are spoilt for choice too.

Good selection- With CRT and Bon voyage on the same day you are likely to get 2 different Ariels and possibly Rapenzels- Will this spoil the magic for your daughter?

Sadly, we have never seen Rapunzel at CRT. Most commonly it is Ariel, Snow White, Jasmine and Aurora in the dining room. Rapunzel can possibly appear though.
Depending on how observant your daughter is you might be able to rescue things by 'reminding' Ariel and/or Rapunzel that you had breakfast with them. Another possibility is moving Bon Voyage breakfast to your first morning!? We are always up at the crack of dawn and they open at 7.30 so you can still make rope drop at a park. |
