I was stopped two years ago on the I4 as a random check on DLs, we were guided to a closed lane where they were checking lots of drivers randomly for DLs, one look at my photo ID, I was thanked for my patience and understanding and sent on my way.
There was a piece of legislation that was brought in a few years ago when the Florida authorities required an IDP, but this was overturned within three months and is not required any more.

Your own choice of course.
As you say PPM I don't tell other Dibbers how to spend their money if it gives them peace of mind.

The IDP was a piece of illegal (as it turned out) legislation introduced by then governor Rick Scott in Jan 2013. It was removed from the Statute Books in April 2013.

Wouldn't dream of taking out my own car insurance when most UK brokers (that I use anyway) include CDW with no excess and $1m SLI.

The U.K. government advice is a bit misleading. An international driving permit isn’t required for Florida. It’s down to individual states to determine if it’s required. It was causing too many issues because of the amount of foreign visitors so they decided to ditch it. Save your £5:50 for something else.

Apparently the only state to require one is Georgia. Unless your driving license isn’t in English.

download the disney app & get to work on figuring out how to use it & how to use the fastpass system. Its all new to me, we last went 2013. there's a great video on youtube called " Top Fastpass Secrets & Tips at Disney World- Rides to Fastpass!"
(I'm sure there'll be others too) but we found it very helpful, wouldn't have had a clue without!
