Used them a couple of years ago and quite happy with them.

They are essentially a budget airline. You can buy food on board (or pre-pay for it before) or just take your own on board. They have on-board entertainment, but not screens in the backs of seats. Basically they have a streaming media server and an app so you just play the content to your own device. They have USB power to the seat, so you don't need to worry about running out of power for your tablet / phone.

We went via Vancouver and had a 2 hour layover. Spent about 20 minutes getting through US immigration there and then went and had a meal in the departure lounge. Didn't have to collect bags, they went straight through, and landing in San Francisco was as an internal flight. Best immigration experience we have ever had.
