I expect I know the answer to this but will ask anyway...

I’m going for the rundisney event in September but my husband isn’t coming too. Our shareholder card is in his name, just because the share account was. I assume I’m not going to be able to use it this trip?
Frustrating as if we’d really thought about it years ago when getting the shares we would’ve realised that if there was a chance of one going without the other then it would’ve been me, doh!

Yea its a big no no since they made the cards photo IDs,. Annoying as sometimes I like to use in UK Disney store n have to drag hubby,. Xx

I gather you can just pass through salon mickey if the Qs are huge & not stop (stand) for a dodgy coffee (no sweeteners when ever I try) or muffin & just breeze through, ?

I think that is a big no,. Or very "frowned upon". They hold into your id to log you in and you let them know when your ready to leave,...

Where is Salon Mickey? My sister has a shareholder card but we have never been. Is she allowed to take anyone with her, or is it just for shareholders. Thanks

Shareholders can bring guests.

It's a lovely little perk, she should definitely take you!

As you approach the entrance, instead of going under the DLH, go right. Just to the right of the turnstiles you will see the guest luggage storage window. The door to the left of that is Salon Mickey. Knock on the door and a CM will answer it. Show them the card and they let you in. They keep hold of the card and your park ticket until you are ready to leave, then you can go through the other door into the park.

There is free tea, coffee and hot chocolate from a machine, and free water and juice in the fridge. You are given a choice of snack when you enter - usually a muffin or a cookie. Sadly I haven't seen the amazing almond pain au chocolat they used to do for years now.

There aren't many places to sit, but there are usually only a few people in there. It's open 9-12 I think.

We always go in once a trip & only once as we go in, don't get a seat & leave in 2-3 mins, not really much going on as seen it once & nothing really changes, diff if it was like a DVC lounge with an outlook, like an upstairs apartment looking down on park

Unfortunately last trip they didn't scan me into the park properly so when we got to the temple of peril fast pass machine it said my ticket was not valid, Not sure how I would have known that beforehand,
