Our table mates last year booked their transatlantic cruise 2 weeks before it sailed, so definitely cabins were available last minute? They were inthe cheapest Oceanside rooms, but think they wanted the cheapest available anyway? Guess you would need to decide before final payment if you want to move your booking, which I'm sure you can? Or wait until last minute to book? I watched the price last year as we booked early and the price didn't really go up, except by the exchange rate?
My dd and I did it last year. It was a very calm crossing except for the 1 night in the Irish sea? Atlantic was very calm! We both agree it was the best holiday we have ever had! Made friends for life and had a ball from day one! If you are interested she posted a video blog on YouTube of our trip? She is a novice lol! But I'll pm you the link if you are interested? 😁

Hi you could book both of them just now with the deposit, then cancel one of them before the final payments due.

Is that OK? It feels a bit odd booking two cruises with the same person, knowing full well you will cancel one of them!

Not at all, I have done that with Deb, moved people on an off and told her we may potentially cancel. That is the beauty of booking with a US TA, no loss of deposit.
