For our cruises that stop in Italy, we always use yourtourinitaly
We have had groups from 2 up to 42 people (all Dibbers!). They will tailor make your tour or you can just choose one of theirs.

Absolutely brilliant company that the DVC peeps use too.

For Naples, I would personally recommend Herculaneum instead of Pompeii. Herc is better preserved and smaller so much easier to navigate, especially if you pay for the guide which is not very much money at all.

We did half day in Herc and half day in Sorrento with Aldo (your tour in Italy owner) - had a great time.

We loved Herculaneum. Didn’t book anything in advance but we had done some research and found a local company that drops you off and picks you up. We got their shuttle from the cruise port and then paid for entry to Herc. An official tour guide then invited us to join her tour and I am so glad we did. The whole morning was a fraction of the DCL cost.
