So, yes, the American tickets went up in price last year. I wouldn't be surprised if they go up in price again this February, like previous years. But maybe they won't?

Still, when you said "Disney and universal do normally have an annual increase around now" that only applies to the American tickets, not UK tickets.

There isn't a separate UK cost for parking. Everyone pays the same price to park at the parks (currently $25). We pay the US cost.

Unless you mean the cost to park at the hotels?

They already build the cost of parking at the hotels into the UK packages. When you think about it, before Disney introduced this separate parking cost for US guests, the cost was already factored into the hotel rates. It's just taking the UK slightly longer to make the cost separate - which I assume you will pay on arrival like everyone else in the world visiting Disney does. But I have no idea.

BTW, it was never clear whether it was stays after the end of 2019 that had to pay or bookings after the end of 2019 that had to pay. Originally, Disney had confirmed that UK bookings made before the end of 2019 would not have to pay. So UK bookings for 2020 made this year would not have to pay. Admittedly, the wording on Disney website is now different.

Yes. But originally it said - and officially confirmed by Disney when they originally announced the hotel parking charges - that for any UK booking made before 31/12/2019 parking will be free. Bookings made on or after 31/12/2019 will be charged. So, originally parking would be free for bookings made this year for stays in 2020. See the following thread:

https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/Dis...ing-p-416.html

I'm still not sure whether the bit you quoted refers to bookings or stays. The first sentence (for non-UK guests) says bookings. The second sentence (for UK guests) implies stays but it could mean bookings, as per the first sentence; i.e. we will be "charged for overnight resort parking on bookings from 1st January 2020".

Anyway, I'm going way off topic now. Sorry.

£35pp more expensive than booking direct with Disney and no magic band either.

Not sure why anyone would use these companies?

It does make you wonder as the offer from Disney is a really good one. The only reason that I can think of is that they can pay a deposit and the freebies [the freebies wouldn't be any good to me anyhow].
