Quality of Alamo carseats

Hi everyone,

Are the carseats with Alamo in good condition (we have it covered in our rental)? Read past mixed reviews so wondering what the situation is like currently. If the seats are bad we are undecided if we should rent from another company or bring our own.

My youngest will be 7 months and my oldest will be 3 years when we go in a couple of weeks.

we have used them 3 times since our little one was 12 months old. we found them extremely clean, perfect sizes and easy to fit with lots of choice which you get to pick yourself.

Be aware that from our experience they will not fit the seat for you but we did ask for help for our first time (with a tip) so factor the ten mins or so to fit this when getting there as they do fit diffferently to the UK.

We have hired 2 over past 2 holidays and our friends another 2 on recent trip. All were clean a d in good condition. No guarantees if you take your own how baggage staff will treat them anyway.

We had two last year. They were clean and wrapped in plastic and you helped yourself. We did spend 20 minutes struggling to get them in the car and in the end a lovely man who was parked near us showed us how they fitted. The staff at Alamo don�t help.
This year we are getting magical express and picking a car up from the car care centre and are buying two to be delivered to our hotel as it works out cheaper.

We�ve hired 3 car seats (a mixture of harness and high back boosters) twice, and have been very happy. There�s lots of choice, all in good, clean condition and wrapped up. We also struggled with installation (a lady from Alamo did help us the first time), but I suggest watching some YouTube installation videos.
We wouldn�t hesitate to rent them again.
