Urgent help needed

Thanks Omega1 that is so helpful. They did book before then, they booked in 2017. They are dealing with their local TC branch, I think they need to speak to head office or like you say hit social media. Thanks everyone for your help when ‘asking for a friend’ she is so grateful too.

Update: Well the travel agent lied, the alternative cruise with the similar itinerary would get them back in time for their flights but by the time she found out they had closed. They have asked for the full refund on the NCL cruise element of their holiday but the TA can’t tell them what that is as it’s ‘part of the package’. After a nearly a whole day of sorting today she getting no further forward she has now booked the Fort Lauderdale cruise and will take up the refund versus cost of new cruise on her return. She has got good insurance with cruise element and end supplier failure if needed. Thanks everyone for your help, she really appreciates it.

Hope they at least get some enjoyment from the cruise. Not a nice situation to be in and I'm sure the stress has damaged at least part of the enjoyment.
