Simulation rides and motion sickness

Good afternoon Dibbers

We visited DLP in October and I rode the Star tours ride and was sick as a dog afterwards, headache the lot.
I didn’t attempt ratatouille so no idea if it all simulation rides or just this one as it made ou feel like you were weaving in and out at great speed.
I know US and WDW are becoming more reliant on simulation rides.
I know everyone is different and reacts differently but anyone else have the same issue? Any rides to def avoid? Would hate to be feel that bad for a whole day of our floriday!

I don’t go on star tours any more for the same reason. No other ride makes me feel unwell like that, but I do feel slightly queasy on minions and Simpson’s. I’ve started taking Dramamine at the start of the day which works like a charm!

I'd avoid US altogether - the tickets are expensive now and you'd need to avoid the majority of the rides.

In disney avoid soarin' and star tours.

If you have a travel sickness tab you should be OK for the rest

Simpsons made me feel very ill, so I am nervous of any simulation ride but thinking about motion sickness tablets when we go as there are so many of these rides now and I don't want to miss out.

I have never felt at all ill on Soarin’!

I take a travel sickness pill before the parks as I'm prone to it. I need them for the plane anyway. Works a treat.

The main ones for me were The Simpsons and Mission Space.

Never felt ill on Soarin either but avatar made me feel queezy towards the end. I wouldn’t do it again.

it has to worse for me since I got varifocals, I just take my glasses off and squint lol

When we went in 2016 I went on forbidden journey in IOA - made me feel awful and the worst thing was it was the first ride of the day and I was ruined for the whole day. It was horrible. Star tours in HA did make me feel a bit cruddy. But this year I took Sturgeon tablets every day we were there and they worked a treat. I even did transformers, Simpson’s, gringots and minions back to back without feeling awful. I didn’t do FJ again ... just didn’t want to burst my bubble lol. But will defo be taking them again this year!
