Mobile Esta with less than 30 days

Hi, has anyone had trouble travelling on an esta that will expire within 30 days. I would just do them again but I'm not going for another two years, and I've checked the website which says they only have to be valid for entry, so officially should be fine.
Just wondered if anyone had encountered issues? Thanks

ESTA is only your right to travel, doesn't need any validity beyond that. Given your countdown, I wouldn't risk doing a new ESTA when there's no need.

We have travelled on ones that expire part way through a holiday. It’s an entry document only.

ThanksI knew I had one in place from our last holiday that would be valid for this holiday, when I booked it many many months ago, it was just that I got the 30 day expiry email and it made me wobble!

Not a problem as long as your esta last longer than your visit, for example we traveled on the 10/10/18 left on the 24/10/18 esta ran out on the 31/10/18 don’t worry

It just has to be valid for entry. So if you travelled on the 10th, it could run out on the 11th. (Although in case of delays I personally wouldn’t go that close!)

Only needs to be valid for the day of arrival but wouldn’t risk that in case you land up with a 24hr delay. As said it’s not a problem if it expires when you’re there.

The email you got says it expires in 30 days...you are going in 4 days according to your countdown, so the email confirms you will be ok by stating it’s still valid when you go.
You are overthinking this. Be assured you will br OK

That's the one you want... evidence of people having been there and done that with no problems.

The TA in ESTA is Travel Authorisation. The officer on the day gives you permission to enter and to stay for a length of time. They are 2 different permissions. Once you're in you don't need to travel there, so don't need permission to travel.
