LHR - Gatwick Transfers.

Hi All, does anyone know if you can through check baggage with BA when you're linking up with Transatlantic flights from LHR to Gatwick. I'd appreciate any pointers as we're gonna be doing the transfer at Easter next year, and don't know if you can through check baggage. Also if anyone can recommend the best, quickest way to get to Gatwick from LHR please, we only have four hours from landing to taking off again.

We travelled that route last year and you have to collect your baggage and check it in again. Four hours should be plenty time though. We did the whole transfer in just under two hours although M25 did not seem busy. Quickest way to do it, is to have a car meet you at one airport and take you to the other. Can be expensive though, but depends on the number in your party. Of course, there is a bus transfer at a reasonable rate.

There plenty of Buses that go between the two every 15 min so that might be a opion
