i'd say its lovely for a night out without the kids (as others have said, some nice restaurants and jellyrolls etc) but would I go out of my way just to take a walk around? not sure?

one of the reasons we are going back to the beach club is because it feels like the boardwalk is an extension of the resort rather than a place to visit on its own (I.e. like Disney springs which is far busier)

hope that helps!

Boardwalk bakery is a great little QS place, and you can fill resort mugs there too.

We treat it like an extension to Epcot. Especially if you are just visiting the World Showcase. There is also the Big River Grill and Brewery, fantastic beer.

We love the boardwalk, we go to beaches and ice cream for a 'poke' (ice cream cone as we call them here!) then stand on the bridge and watch the Epcot fireworks and then walk along the river path half way to Hollywood studios and watch the fireworks there. We don't stay onsite or buy a 14 day pass so this is a lovely 'free' way to spend an evening without the madness of going to a park but still has the Disney atmosphere!
