If you are there for 7 nights; so 8 days; do you get the DDP for 7 nights or for the 8 days.

I know I can use the credits up to midnight on the day of check, but do I get credits for the check out day?

It's a set of credits for every night of your stay, so 7 sets for 7 nights. Most people only use 1 credit on arrival day which leaves a credit left for departure day, provided it's not been used in the meantime.
