Boardwalk parking

I’ve visited lots of times over the years and have always parked there no problems.

We were able to park a couple of evenings last August, just said that we were going for a wander round Boardwalk.

True. I didn't realise until we stayed at Boardwalk for a couple of weeks on our last visit, how difficult it is to park at certain times.

Same as any reort, it's fine to park for 3 hours if not staying there. It's just the selfish minority who try to abuse the system and park there all day for free parking to EPCOT and DHS.

I've never had any trouble parking there

We went to Big River Grill without an ADR on the Boardwalk. We just pulled up at the Boardwalk Hotel and told the security guard we were going for dinner and he just waved us through. We were there for a good few hours having a walk around as well but didn't have to prove anything to him in terms of a booking etc.

We couldn't park there when we tried in October last year. Security guard said there were 3 weddings plus a convention on, so unless we did valet parking it was a no. He did suggest getting a bus from Disney Springs. As we'd been several times before on previous visits, we didn't bother trying again, but I'm sure it was just a mega busy day for them and would be fine on other occasions.
