Yes. We got ours delivered to Poly and again to AKL.

2017 - Sept Poly first trip with two toddlers!
2018 - May AKV & POR the last before school trip.
2019 - May SSR & Kidani
2022 - April Poly, SSR, WLV
2023 - POFQ & AKL

Lots of car seats aren’t rear facing in the US and at 18 months you def need rear facing, not sure if it’s compulsory but it is 5 x safer in an accident.
We ERF too its very important to me. All the ones in that link above are ERF I've got a USA ERF seat luckily they're quite readily available. I agree with you though if you can manage your own, do. We can't as we've two toddlers and they've got Cybex Sirona M2s which are crazy heavy.
