Definitely an eating trip of Two halves. Quality and quantity of food improves from the day after tomorrow !

Those ladies were hilarious, they just didn't care who heard them

The names on some of the menus never disappoint, do they?! "Heartyman's Combo"

Whereabouts on Clearwater Beach was the Palm Pavilion, Amanda? Wonderful view (shame about the burnt ends!)

Yes they are good arent they - Lumberjack Slam, Moons over My Hammy ... not that I notice

It was just across / opposite from Frenchy's Rockaway Grill on the beach front - a few of the group hailed from Rockaway in New York so it was a source of some discussion !

Hope you had a great trip.

I feel the need to enquire about the Phoenix Night/Benidorm experience?

Are you doing a trippie? We need to know what all that was about! xx

Hello

Conjure up the most excruciating entertainment with some audience participation, unhelpful service and the overall atmosphere of sitting in cold lard and you just about have it. But we were very tired, so I am most likely being a tad harsh

I am doing a trippie , this night was completely eclipsed by st Patricks day/night(mare)

Dunk in Donuts

Honey I'm home and I went to Dunkin Donuts. Words to thrill a girls heart

Only it was not a mountain of sugary naughtiness but breakfast bagels and muffins . They were ok, nicer than MaccyDs IMO

Buffalo Wild Wings Largo

A pilgrimage was made here to watch Liverpool v Man City. As the only United supporter amongst three Scouse fans, it was always going to be a challenging couple of hours.

BWW continues to be Arctic . Air con is set way too Low . It was not busy

but the service was pretty slow.

I had Harvest Moon Hooch cocktail

Andy got the sharing platter . Onion rings, nachos, mozarella sticks, wings

The others ordered some appetisers too, no pics but it's on the receipt.

I always have a Jack Daddy burger but this holiday I said I would try new things.

As my 16 year old wisely counselled me on our return .. Always stick with what you know.

Very Yoda.

I ordered the bacon cheese curd burger , because I like cheese curds.

And they were nice.

It was the sauce slathered all over them that I didn't like.

It was bleurgh. And it made the burger greasy.

Totes disappointment

I consoled myself with a Berry milkshake as I had been up most of the night with chronic indigestion and reflux (tmi but it made me tired and grumpy evil)

Well, I think they went to Orlando to milk the cow it took so long to arrive

I don't think we were over generous on the tip when we left ...

Overall, if this was my first visit to a BWW I wouldn't go back. But we know it can be fab so forgiven this time !

BBQs round the pool.

We ate "at home" a few nights.

We did a shop in Publix that was $145 which catered for 3 BBQs of steak shrimp, sausage and chicken , plus assorted sides , desserts and drinks.

Here is the trolley, a bit feeble at the start

See how I got the desserts in first

We got tenderloin and rib eye steaks. Two of each , $18.99 per lb.

They ended up like this

We had them with just a Caesar salad. Nom nom

The rest of the meals were a bit random ..

Gotta have chips n dips with cocktails ..

And hot dogs

Or maybe that's ketchup with added dog

More steak , different night , with a garden salad and shrimp

Steaks were very tender ... If a little pink for the laydeeees

Note Cunning use of paper plates to reduce post cocktail washing up

And the sausage / chicken evening

Sticky bbq chicken

Dry Cajun rub chicken

A feast ! Well it was before it was eaten

We didn't ever get into the Red Velvet cake
But we did try the key lime pie

Eesh , it was a cheeky little tart

All in all, around $50 for food per BBQ night for 4 peeps, pretty good value for at home dining. Doesnt include the beers though , ahem.
