Grand Floridian Spa
Hi all,
As it's just me and the youngest dd on or upcoming trip, we fancied having a spa treatment at GF followed by afternoon tea. Has anyone been to the spa? Would love to hear of Some experiences and also info about when and how to book would be gratefully received |

I went to the senses spa last year for a manicure. The waiting room was really lovely and nice but I wasn't too impressed with the actual manicure experience itself so don't think I'll be back, decided this year to go do things like tours and Disney after hours instead!
You can book by calling a number (can't remember the exact number but is probably on the WDW website somewhere)...

Hi
Just to let you know. I had a manicure at the Mandara Spa at the Swan and Dolphin. It was lovely - they give you a mimosa and the staff were lovely and chatty. They gave me a 20% off voucher for a return visit - so I booked a pedicure and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Hi
Yes I did pre-book as they are really busy - which I find reassuring. Here is the page - you have to go through a booking process for what you would like to have and put a credit card down - but they don't charge you until you had have the treatment. mandaraspa/spa/Orland...d-Dolphin.aspx Easy to get to from the back of Epcot. The boys did the Aqua tour at Epcot - I had a pedicure

I went to Senses at Saratoga Springs last year. Had a brilliant time. Pedicure was lovely and was able to use the rest of the facilities with drinks and snacks included. Also given a little bag to take away with nail varnish etc included. There are a few photos in our food report (link in signature). I booked the day before in person.

Getting Excited
|
I’ve tried senses at the grand Floridian and Saratoga Springs, and the Mandara.
Saratoga and the Grand Floridian were similar and I loved them both. Saratoga is much bigger so may be easier to get an appointment. I loved the relaxation rooms and the dressing gowns we were given to wear, and there was a hot tub/steam room area (men and women separate). I would happily go to either and think my decision would be based on location/travel time/whether I also wanted to spend time in the hotel too. I also enjoyed the mandara but, to me, it wasn’t as “Disney”. We also had issues with parking but this was due to construction work. In the end we could use free valet parking with the spa at the mandara, but this hadn’t been made clear to us. Treatment-wise, I think I’ve always gone for a massage. Hope you have a lovely time. |

Thanks for all of the helpful info guys! Can I just ask, when you said you get to use the rest of the facilities, what exactly are those?
