My DS24 is interested in doing this.

I know its no longer in Disney so we would have to plan in a daytrip to Daytona for him to do it.

Has anyone done it and if so would you say it is worth doing.

We have a pretty full schedule so we will have to pick and choose carefully and it could be between a day at Daytona so he could do this or a trip to KSC.

Did at Daytona brilliant experience, you get taken into the middle and start from the pit lane, 3 laps around the track I think was $99 but this was a while ago, you get a video of the experience from inside and outside of the car.
Bit of a bonus that the Daytona track is 2 miles long.

I must be mad but I've just booked the Daytona speedway practice for my son (who'll be 20 when we go). It seemed like a good idea at the time but now I've booked it I'm dreading him doing it lol .

There's a variety of experiences that you can choose. My son chose one where you drive the nascar yourself. I would've done it as a surprise for him but I wasn't sure which he would prefer to do.

Mmm its pretty pricey - will have to see just how badly he wants to do it x

It is expensive and is supposedly on offer at the minute but my son isn't that interested in the parks so it'll be nice for him to do something he enjoys.
