Clermont Parkrun
I'm planning on doing Parkrun in Clermont on at least the first Saturday of our trip BUT in all our previous trips I've never been to Clermont before and could do with knowing how easy it is to find where the Clermont Parkrun startline is.
I know it's by the boathouse on Lake Minneola, how easy is this to find when we get to Clarmont itself? How long is it likely to take to drive from the LBV area to Clermont and what is the best route to take? TIA |

We used a route from Google maps which took us on the I-4, the Turnpike and the Fl-50. We used the directions from the Parkrun website when we got to Clermont, which were easy to follow. We allowed an hour which was loads of time. 45 minutes would probably have been fine.
One word of warning - take bug spray! There are thousands of bugs by the boathouse and I was bitten even through my running tights. Other than that, it is a lovely flat course and a great way to start the day. |
