Lufthansa to Miami- Book or wait?

Evening,

So... my dilemma... I have seen flights to Miami with Lufthansa via Frankfurt (we're cruising so want Miami) in our July school holidays next year for £440 pp. Now, for school holidays thats a decent price!

However...by playing the waiting game (and holding my nerve )the last couple of years we have had sub £300 flights in school holidays, albeit 2 stops and long travel days

The Lufthansa flights fit well, times are good and 1 stop... am I being scrooge thinking I may get a better deal if I wait... Love a bargain!

I know its a how long is a piece of string question, but interested in opinions of others, especially since some Dibbers got great deals on Lufthansa last year.

We paid £409 this year. Good flights. Just make sure you have about 2 hours connection time both ways. We didn’t make it on the way home with only one hour between flights.

Great price for summer holidays. I would pay that rather than have an extra stop and longer travel day and be happy that I'd got a good price.

We flew with Lufthansa earlier this year and would fly with them again, especially as they go from our local airport.

What airport is that from and what are your dates? We are also looking at flights to Miami next summer but couldn't find any that cheap with Lufthansa.

We used them on the return leg a few years ago and found them to be good so would be happy to use them again.

I would book at that price, rather than hold out for 2 stops at £80pp lower that might never materialise. Holding out is only for those with nerves of steel who aren't fixed on particular dates IMO.

Any other year I would have jumped at this price. I think I am hesitant as there have been fantastic deals the last couple of years. We did a BA flydrive last year booked in the September sale.

Just about convinced myself to go for it as it ticks the boxes and DH quite fancies the route via frankfurt cause its "new". He loves an airport lol
