I am early riser at home, usually 6ish. On holiday the first few mornings it's 4 am, after that usually 6 am. Trying to wake my teenage son up is another matter lol.

The first few days I can't lay in I wake up at around 5am usually! Not by choice it's just my body clock. I definitely take advantage of it and get out early

Not allowed to get up at unearthly times as 'it is a holiday'. Don't rope drop unless needed.
Never had problem doing everything we wanted to do. |

I'm another one who wakes at 2am on the first day, then 4 and then 6, which is how it stays for the rest of the trip. I'd much rather be up and out early and then have a cheeky afternoon nap! I used to be able to do all day at a park, but not any more. Rope drop and fireworks are on separate days for me now!

Longest day we've ever done? 0730 - 0100 in MK. No going back to the hotel. Amazing day, but never again!
Usually up about 7/7.30 and in the parks for opening, for reservations or DC etc we'll get up about 6. We tend to get to the parks for opening, stay until lunch time then back to the hotel for a swim (or a nap!) and then back out until close .

I'm not an morning person, even on holiday! I usually wake at 5am ish the first morning then it gets steadily later and later until getting out of bed for 7am is met with grumbles by me.
This is where FP+ works so well for us- less of a pressure to hit rope drop because we already know we're getting on 3 rides! |

Work usually starts early and I'm usually awake before 6am so last year when I was waking up at 6.30am in WDW it felt almost late! (This feeling doesn't last long though, after a couple of days it gets harder and harder to wake up early...)
Longest day I have done was in April 2015. If I don't remember wrongly, I went to Universal first and stayed the whole day (rope drop at 8am until park close at 10pm). Then went over to MK and stayed for night EMH (which ended at 3am). So was essentially in the parks from 8am to 3am. One of the best days I've had though, as there was almost no one in MK during night EMH!
