Our children are rarely up after 6 at home due to the early start for the morning commute on week days. Based on holiday it is little different, although by the end the long days start to catch up with them.

Very useful for making rope drop, not so good on a water park day when the park doesn't happen until 10!

First few days anywhere between 4am - 5am.. usually flagging by 3pm..

Once we've adjusted we're up 6.30am - 7am. We both get up very early for work anyway so it's not a big deal for us.

We could never lounge about in bed whilst in Florida though - it would seem such a waste!

Exactly how we feel about Florida.
It's a big investment and when booking, most folk are aware of the type of holiday. It's a get up and go type of holiday, with so many parks it's hard to be otherwise.

Now a beach holiday to Majorca say is a different matter, just made for relaxing and taking it easy. -

Mine are still sleeping now! 10am is our longest lie in so far. We are just onto our 2nd week and the only morning we were up early was the first day...I would have rushed into a Disney Park if we had tickets just to say I'd actually managed rope drop! We just go with flow as we are on holiday. Our first trip we did set a few more alarms so it's nice to take a more relaxed approach.

I'm really looking forward to our Majorca break next summer after our full on Florida holiday the other week. Sounds like bliss
