We went last year, the first party, it was manic, crowd control was disorganised and frankly dangerous at times. We had tonnes of sweets, the parade was fantastic. We also had 14 day tickets too, so didn't bother with a lot of rides though queue times were no more than 20 mins if that apart from 7 Dwarves. Would I go again? No if I already had the 14 day tickets. This year I don't have tickets for Disney just doing Universal, so will go in August to MNSHP but will be concentrating on the rides,as its cheaper buying a MNSHP ticket than a day pass if I had the 14 day tickets I wouldn't bother,

We have the 14 day ticket. I think this is why I had thought 'is it worth it?' As it feels as if we are paying twice 😀. I agree it is worth getting a ticket if you don't have the 14 day one. I think we will get it, as you did, as we have the opportunity and may not be there at MNSSHP time again. We are particularly looking forward to the parade and fireworks.

We went in October just gone..

Was it worth it... echo the above regarding been there and having to do it.

We was in the park from 4pm and stayed until closing..

If we were to do it again, i personally think you need at least 2 nights doing it to make sure you do it all due to the queue lengths and to be able to see all the shows.

The queue for Jack and Sally was 3 hours, queue for the 7D's 2 hours.

So, we we were to go again, we would have to do at least 2 nights.

Was it value for money... No.. nothing Disney is.

We are thinking of going on the 25th, as we fly in on 21st I think we would be tired earlier on the 23rd as it takes a couple of days to fully adjust to the time. It will possibly be our only time at Halloween which is why we have decided to get tickets too.

We should compare final itineraries when we make them to see if we are in the same place at any time, we are bound to be at some point 😀

Looking to do this as a first (and last lol) this year as I know its not going to be worth the money but doing it for the experience...

Can anyone tell me do you take your own bags/buckets for sweets or do they supply them? (Strange question sorry but I have been wondering lol)

We had 8 bags for 5 of us , all full . If you fill it just ask for another . Each one holds about 1llb of sweets so be warned about carrying it .
