At the moment it doesn't - was on for a while last year and has since been removed - not immediately obvious if it'll be put back yet.

It's such a pain for the staff to wipe each set of goggles after each ride.

We were looking at sweaty fellas and hoping we didn't get their goggles. Fingers crossed it's some lovely lady with a dry head

That’s a shame. Hopefully they have it as an option next year

Me too, I'm curious to try it, but equally, I'd want to ride it without as well.

We love universal and the screen rides. We dont really do rollercoasters so suits us.

Very good thread - the increase in screen and simulator rides at Universal and WDW is something I picked up while there in Easter - and all the newest rides are not as fantastic as I thought they would be.

Kong was deeply underwhelming given the outside theming is amazing. Fallon also is Minions-lite. Neither blew our socks off.

I'm going to go against the grain here (sorry) and say that for all the hype and acclaim, FOP also slightly disappointed. It's a very impressive ride but falls way short of Forbidden Journey for sheer entertainment. Yes, different tech involved but FJ has the bar set highest for indoor thrills and its eight years since it opened.

We are coaster enthusiasts and last went to Florida in 2015, so there weren't as many coasters at US/IoA at the time (as Hulk wasn't operational) and it did affect how we viewed the park. We had no clue why they bothered to have both Transformers and Spiderman as they were identical and the sound on both was muffled so we had no idea what was going on.

I assume we'll see more screen based rides as they take up far less space and have to involve less costly maintenance. Disney and Universal are making pots of cash regardless so likely won't see any effect if they move away from coasters, and I suppose could even make more if it turns out people like us are in the minority. But it does make me sad!

One might argue there are even fewer coasters now as Hulk reopened but Dragon Challenge closed, which was technically two coasters...

(Duelling) Dragons Challenge went downhill and lost riders when they stopped the two trains going at the same time. The duelling bit was the reason why people like riding it.

I totally agree, but even so, queueing 35 minutes for Hulk versus being on a half empty train on Dragon Challenge and riding both sides in under 15 minutes is a bit mad. Especially considering a posted wait of 200+ minutes for Seven Dwarves at MK merely four days later. I know why that is why it is but still...
