Yes you do. Generally they advise 72 hours, but it can also take a lot longer.

The Cardiff city centre branch were diabolical. If only theyd been as helpful as the Liverpool one. Great news for those who have linked now or got upgrades for free 👍🏼

It’s good for anyone around there then to get help.

Mine is a Virgin holiday store in Metro Centre 40+ miles from my home, so contact mainly by phone.
Still waiting for them to contact me to say my account had linked. They were monitoring the booking every day and as soon as any movement or answer back from the loading team they will ring me.🤔🤔🤔
Needless to say not heard a thing.

So currently sat by the pool in Turkey & my phone rang with a number that looked suspiciously like a Virgin Holidays number - at £1.50 a minute I wasn’t gonna answer it so started searching for a email address to use when an email came through from a member of the resolution team who says ... we’re all sorted 😃😃😃
The only change that has been made is instead of saying “Standard Room” the booking now says “Standard Room + 5th Sleeper” - I know that is an option when you book direct with Disney so maybe VH just needed to update their side?
We’re still not linked on MDE but i’m going to leave it a couple of days & try the website - fingers & toes crossed that’s the end of the issues and we can start counting down to May for our ADRs 🤞🏼🤞🏼

waited for the price of upgrade? NOTHING!
She was such a lovely girl and was very sympathetic to our problem.
I did ask if she had had many people in regarding this chaos only to be told she had only heard of 1 coming into store.
So it does go to show it is all depending on who you get to deal with your booking, so we are now very happy with our solution to what has been a very stressful time
I hope everybody caught up in this debacle gets a result that they are happy with.
So now all booked and confirmed roll on November 2019!
This is great news! I'm glad you've had a good ending - booking holidays should not cause this much stress!

If thats the one in the white rose dont bother we booked there this time and they was beyond useless when we was allocated the wrong room promise after promise was made but nothing done.
