question for the blokes ..footwear in the parks

Gents - what do you wear on your feet when in the parks (or any other Florida holiday which involves a lot of walkong)

I'm not the lightest of people and was thinking of socks and sandals but have been told that is a no no !

So uphill the beans..What is your footwear of choice ?

Nike Free Running trainers like these: nike/gb/t/free-rn-20...50P/942836-100

Very light, super comfy and cushioned on the heel
Plus stylish

Much better than standard trainers

AirMax ‘95’s not the lightest option but really comfy soles.

Any form of well fitting comfortable footwear. Sandals are likely to chafe... and no cushioning.

I prefer short ankle socks...the ones which look invisible when worn... and a decent pair of lightweight breathable trainers with a cushioning sole ... go for a good brand.

Hi BB

You may know that we haven't done the parks since 2010 but will still do a fair bit of walking.

Skechers Go Walk for me. Forget which model but they are "slip on" rather than laced. Oddly enough Joan and I were at the Mansfield McArthur Glen last week and there's a Skechers there so I treated myself to another pair. Only £36 which, if I remember correctly, is cheaper than the Premium Outlets.

I now have a blue/grey pair to match my blue or grey shorts and a brown/beige pair to match my brown or beige shorts.

But please NO SOCKS

Mick

Doesn't all footwear other than sandals/flip flops and crocs?
BTW these Nike's aren't leather and designed for athletics so should keep your feet cooler than most trainers.

We bought two pairs of customised versions for our Disney holidays and its the best decision we made.

Sketchers you may find just as suitable as well actually but I don't find them very fashionable
