We're onsite 5 nights and I just about managed slinky dog at 9pm on day 2 and FoP on day 5. We had to switch animal kingdom to our last day to get it. I think we would have struggled to get the most popular rides on FP day with a stay under 5 nights. I haven't tried to refresh or modify so as others have said new FP's may become available

That's not been our experience. We travel in 3 days and booked FPs at 60 days out, one day at a time.
We never struggled to book any attractions on any day. That included FOP & the new Toy Story rides. We even managed to swap out times a few days after booking. Nor did we have any technical issues. Shame its not gone well for some of the folk posting today. |

I had to redo my plans around the fastpasses.
I was only tied to EPCOT on 24th Aug as we have an ADR. So I planned AK for 21st Aug, couldn't get the FP+ s moved AK to 25th Aug etc etc. Managed to get all the FP+ we wanted in the end.

I can't remember, does it work like ADRs at 60 days+10 or is it 60 days + duration of stay? We are staying onsite for 15 nights.

Please can anyone offer advice for booking on your iPhone? I just want to make sure I have done the steps correctly. I have to do it tomorrow and have a 15 minute window (break in work)
Ive got the Disneyworld app on my iPhone. Our names are all showing. It states 'create a fast pass party'. When I do this I click and go to the next screen where it asks 'does everyone have tickets'.( We do, its showing as linked when I type in the reservation or ticket number) But it does not give me the option to continue. Is this because the fast pass window is not yet open? OR is there something else I need to do? Any help most appreciated. Very stressed after reading these posts and have a short window to book them. Thank you

I'm surprised no-one can see them for the first few days, or why they are getting used up the more it gets towards later in August.
We have FOP, Navi, Slinky and 7DMT all in the first 4 days (end of July start) and others throughout the stay. |

Hi i also booked 1 night onsite fir FPs and was also disappointed i could not get FOP
But i have been looking at FP availability for a few months now and i noticed last month was the same for FOP booking at 60 days for July and there were none available and then at about 45 days they released another load of dates for July and some are still available now Maybe this is what Disney do with it been peak season and hopefully the same will happen for this August |

60 days prior to check in for duration of stay (but only for the same number of days as you have tickets)

I also wasn’t able to get any FOP fast passes initially. Today I’ve logged on and managed to get one for 19th August! Also managed to get slinky dog for the 22nd.

Yes, that is what happens for everyone.
However, the booking one day at a time is where the problem is when it comes to booking fastpasses for rides like FoP. Once you get past the couple of days when you are actually onsite, you are only able to book fastpasses 60 days out. Lots of people (who are staying for longer) will have been able to book those days before you, and they are generally all gone before the 60 day point. |
