Does anyone know if you can use a Revolut card with Alamo.
Thanks

Some people have been able to use it for some reason but the official answer is no, you can't use prepaid cashcards with rental companies. Needs to be a Visa / MasterCard debit card as a minimum.

Furthermore, using a credit card for car hire, hotels etc will offer you protection whereas Revolut will not.

Not to take away from its benefits as a prepaid cash card for your day to day spending dollar.

Thanks for the help. I never thought of card protection. Iv'e always used Revolut for day to day use on holiday, but last year I used my HSBC Credit card for the Alamo Tolls, and when we got home, there were toll payments taken out almost daily for about 3 weeks. (I got totally confused) I was hoping to avoid the same problem this year.

I’ve always used my Lloyd’s debit card for Car Hire. Tried the Revolut once and it failed.
