Avis group w pickup Tampa

We have a group w booked through Avis which is a edge or similar. Has there been anyone have this car group recently and if so what did you get? Also did you stick with you original car or use the swap lineup? (We have already set up Avis preferred). Thanks in advance

There is no swap line anymore it was done away with like at Orlando, if your not happy with ur car u can see if they will swap it for you but it’s not guaranteed , when I’ve had group W I’ve had a Dodge Journey which was awful, Toyota Highlander and a Ford Edge.

We had a Santa Fe in 2017. Liked it so much bought a Tucson at home.

Thank you for your reply! Out of sheer interest were the outlander and dodge both the 7 seater versions or just 5?

We are also due to collect group W at Tampa. When we had the same class at Miami a couple of years ago we were given a huge eight seater Chevrolet. Kids put the middle seats down and sat right at the back with their legs stretched out!

We've not flown into Tampa before and have booked a Chevy Cruze for our holiday - I think it's group C. Does anyone know if they even have these at the Tampa pickup? The reason I ask is that the Cruze is our preferred vehicle..and usually book it until our last trip in January when Avis ~kindly~ upgraded us to a different make.

We booked a Group W from Key West airport and got a Dodge Journey. It was actually OK to drive although a bit thirsty.
