To this... today, when my husband went to the village and had his hair cut to be the same.. he’s still got more than me

I’ve got typical steroid moonface

I’ve gained two plus stone in weight, I’m fat and feel ugly but more than that I’m frustrated with covid I’m truly grateful to be alive and able to share these photos, something I rarely do.

Those who are suffering either through covid, mental health or cancer. Please know, the light is there, you just have to try and hold on as long as you can to find it.

I’m in remission at the moment, my last chemotherapy was last Wednesday, I’m still “sick” but taking each day as it comes. My cancer will never be cured but I will not allow it, or my hair loss to define me and I’m determined to live life to the full as best I can for as long as I can.

I’m not posting for the there there value . I’m just trying to share a very personal journey that might just help one other person through to the other side

TB. You are a very brave Lady to share your story on the Dibb and also to post your pictures. What I can see beyond the missing hair and the temporary weight gain is a Lady brimming with love for her Family and an insatiable desire to enjoy life whatever it may throw at you.

You're looking well, my husband shaved all his off when I lost mine too and he's still as bald as a coot. I found it quite liberating being bald, and yes I put on 2 stone too, I went into it thinking I was going to lose weight on the chemo diet 😳🤔
