Nobody is panicking. People just want to make sure they've got stuff for Christmas Day. Going to the shops on Boxing Day is a bit late!

Just finished ours, ended up in Lidl’s, Aldi’s and Tesco 😀. Lidl’s was very quiet but not well stocked, so went to Aldi nearby which was slightly busier and had better stock but I wanted a fancy dessert and neither of these had one. So Tesco was just over the road, popped in there, much busier but still parked easily and got a beautiful russe cheesecake for £8. Tesco was very well stocked but did have long queues. We used the self-service tills which still had queues but didn’t take long. DH didn’t swear at all, got a little stressed over the parking. But overall very successful shopping trip.

Merry Christmas everyone 😀

Sainsbury’s this morning was pretty hectic - only needed some last minute things so we weren’t there too long.

I did hear one lady say that they’d run out of trolleys!

That’s it now - no more shopping!

Went to Asda for a few items, forgot brandy butter and bread sauce. I know I could make it but... It was very quiet but as stated by a previous poster, the aisles were blocked by
Pick and Packers. Still, all done now.

You are so right about people not knowing how things really are, one of our managers was called an absolutely disgusting name yesterday which I can't put on here or I'll be banned, it's just uncalled for and if they can't cope with shopping when it's busy they should stay away.

I hope you and your family have a lovely Christmas and I'm looking forward to reading more of your trip report in the new year.
Thank you so much and I would reciprocate the Christmas wishes to you and your family too. Trip report has two days ready to post when I get a spare couple of hours to post lots of good adventures to share
