West Coast 2020 (just a bit early!) - Day 2 Disneyland California Adventure - Desert party
So we wake up again just before the alarm, 6am, instead of 6:30. We leave the kids to sleep, and get everything ready for the day, it’s 7:30 before we are ready to leave and we head off for breakfast. I’m starting to feel the effects of early starts and long days as I post breakfast at ihop on Facebook despite being at Denny’s practically next door.
We feel quite happy with what we managed to see and do the day before so relax into a false sense of security. Gain access to DCA shortly after 8, and get a return time for Radiator Springs racers. It’s in 20 minutes, should have done the other two rides in cars land first, but wait it out, toilets are used by all, and we look around the shops. It’s time, and the ride is down. almost an hour later, and they are out, we have parent swap, and I have gotten a return time for Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters whilst waiting for them to come back. Flissy enjoyed it, even with the spins, and the boys had fun too. We then got a return time for Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, and I got a return time for Grizzly peak whilst Amanda and the boys rode that. I then used the parent swap with the boys on Radiator Spring Racers, and the ride goes down. We get out in about 40 mins, and it's off to Grizzly Peak. Amanda and the boys ride it, and I head off to Soarin with Flissy for a fast pass, watch Amanda and the boys come down the hill, Flissy falls over, cuts her knee; and when we meet them at the exit; I get grassed up by my 2 year old who shows off her knee and points to me. Then It's straight to Soarin, again; Amanda and the boys ride it. whilst I sit out with Fliss, who is now asleep.
