Car Hire Help!

Hi, I plan to book car hire myself from Alamo brits. Got 40 days for standard car for £750 compared to travel agent £1200! What should I watch out for never booked myself before. I will also be only using visa debit which I think Alamo take at pick up. anything I should know? xxx thanks for help...

Many people on here use AB and they are as good as anyone.
As with any car rental - make sure you read all the paperwork when you collect your car and ensure any charges are as expected (zero for most of us).

I used my visa debit card as deposit last year.nothing was taken from card it's just held on system incase they need to take something
