There is always an offer. Often it includes free half board ie breakfast and 1 meal per day.
All the hotels (except Davy Crockett) are walkable. Cheyenne and Santa Fe are a pleasant 15 minute stroll along the river. I would go for Cheyenne as the theming is incredible. Book transport separately. Eurostar can be booked for as little as £75 return, particularly if you change at Lille or Gare du Nord. If you fly, factor in transfers. For us (2 adults) RS Transports shared shuttle came out cheaper than the train or the ‘magical shuttle’.

We are staying in the Kyraid this coming January for 4 nights 5 days
Got it for £125 for 2 people Flight come in at £175 We both have the cheapest annual passes total £360 £660 all in. Obviously this is with no breakfast and something you might want to look into? I was worried about staying slightly offsite but found the free shuttles running every 10 minutes on my last trip and they literally took 5-10 to get to the parks themselves. Food for thought |

It might be worth having another look. A quick look on the DLP site for 3 nights in mid November gives a price of around £1200 for two people, and that's for Compass Club with park tickets and breakfast. I can also see the Sequoia Lodge for around £700 for certain dates in November.

We are going for 4 nights on 9th Dec for 2 adults and 1 child with park tickets and half board plus, staying at the Sequoia Lodge and that was just over £1000. I thought that was pretty reasonable.

Definitely wait to book when there’s an offer on, and check other country’s sites.
We first went in August 2016, and paid £800 for five days in Cheyenne (four of us). When we were pricing up May/June last year, there wasn’t anything even close in price, so we assumed prices had shot up out of our reach. Then I spotted a great offer on the French site - £600 for five days in Santa Fe during school holidays. It was a lovely walk to the parks and we took our own breakfasts with us - croissants, brioche and pain au chocolat from B&Ms! We drove and used clubcard vouchers for the tunnel, so our only travel expenses were petrol and tolls. Also, I’m not sure where you have priced up, but you said you weren’t getting tickets with your Disney hotel stay, which is quite unusual, so I’m assuming hotels.com or similar? You’re best booking direct with Disney or a Disney agent, so that your tickets are included with your Disney hotel stay. Our £600 holiday included five days of tickets, and I think buying five day tickets for four of us or four annual passes separately would have probably cost about that alone. On a similar note, breakfast shouldn’t cost £45 each, especially at the cheaper hotels, so avoid any deal trying to charge you that. The half board meal plan is only £48 for the Newport Bay level, and that would get you breakfast AND a main meal in the parks / hotels. For standard level, it’s only £34 for two meals a day.
