Car hire a bit expensive for 2014?

Last year we paid £340 for an int suv, this year it's £420+, has anyone else noticed prices seem a bit high?

No... We paid £297 for an int SUV last year and only £342 for a minivan this year so pretty much what I expected.

yes... Price for a 7 Seater SUV seem to be about £80-£100 more than last year to me.

I've had quotes for intermediate SUV's at £300 for 2 weeks in August from US Rent a car and £280 from Alamo Brits...seems on par with previous years.

I created an Alamo Brits booking around October last year for 7 seater Minivan in April 2014 for 23 days (£570) pay on arrival. The same quote was showing as £900 last night

Yes, that's who we used last year and the first people I went to this year.

I've noticed car hire is more expensive for us this year although I got ours last year with the Hertz 30% sale. I've only managed 15% discount for May paying approx £4 per day more for a 7 seater minivan.
