Yes Sunderland has the biggest stage/backstage in north east so gets shows that Newcastle Theatre Royal isn’t always big enough for. Heard it’s coming in Nov 2025 to Sunderland.

I’m over the moon for Operation Mincmeat winning best new musical. I think it’s fantastic and and pleased I’d convinced my DS to come and see it with me next month.

My favourite part of the ceremony though was Tom Francis performing Sunset Boulevard. This blew me away when I saw it in the theatre, and have watched the ‘Royal Albert Hall’ version several times this week!

Yes that's right, we've recently seen Lion King and Aladdin at Sunderland, and have Wicked and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang booked there. 😀

I saw this on Wed night. I had been a bit nervous as the reviews weren’t 100% but it was brilliant wasn’t it?
The music was so good and was really true to the film
