Good choice, personally I would struggle to cruise without a balcony. Lovely to sit outside and watch the sea go by, and totally agree the extra space is a huge plus with 3 in a cabin!
Enjoy

I've done 3 cruises, 2 with balcony and one with a port hole. I don't think i could do an inside cabin, think i'd feel claustrophobic. We did the fjords last year with a cabin and we loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the scenery go by. I think if i was going somewhere scenic i'd definitely do the balcony but if a transatlantic i would just book a cabin with a port hole.

Mrs Nicola, your 13 year old will love this ship! My son got involved in the football games, made loads of friends and disappeared for rest of cruise! I tried roller skating, and my husband did the sky diving thing. There are some fantastic shows on this ship too.
