Anybody stayed at Village Nature?

Looking at going DLP for 4 nights in the summer, and was thinking of extending the trip by adding 3 or 4 nights at the start/end at Village Nature, just to make it a bit of a longer holiday, however I read some early reviews which were pretty poor, has anyone stayed recently? If so what's it like these days?

Will be me, DW and DS4.

We stayed there a year ago and thought it was nice. There is no air con - just fans so be aware it could get hot in the summer. I didn't find it exceptional and not the same as other centre parcs in europe but we had a great time. The pool is very good - plenty of slides. We didn't find much in the way of activities but it seems like they are improving and there is more on offer in the summer. We were a group of adults and felt it was catered more for families and young children. I'd be happy to answer specific questions
