Mobile DLP for Christmas

We have booked 4 nights in Sequoia Lodge over Christmas (23-27th December). Has anyone been there over this period, and can you tell me what things work differently?

I’m struggling to find any information on how things work during this period, though I did find a comment on a YouTube video that only a couple of restaurants are open on Christmas Eve.

I have not been to DLP since I was a child, so I’m essentially starting from scratch. What do I need to know about going during the festive period, other than it will be cold and busy? Thank you.

Christmas Eve is a big deal in France. The table service restaurants usually have special menus which cost a fortune. We ate at counter service in the park on Christmas Eve. I would recommend eating a little earlier than you normally would as the restaurants are not open as long on the 24th. Christmas Day was business as usual and all the restaurants were back to the normal price.

I didn’t realise this about Christmas Eve in France, but that makes sense - thank you! We can definitely plan for counter service on Christmas Eve, as I don’t think we will want to do a fancy meal. Maybe that could be our Wild West night though?

Do you remember whether the parks close early on Christmas Eve, or is it just the restaurants that are affected?

Parks closed at normal hours in Christmas Eve. Disneyland was 10pm, Studios was 8pm.
